1/2" Bridge Valve Installation

 How to install an Advanced Bridge Valve if the existing shut-off valves are 1/2". 

1/2" Angle Stop Installation with 1/2" supply line

Step 1:  Turn off water to house.

Turn off water to the house at the main water valve or at the meter.

Step 2:  Disconnect hot water supply line.

Turn of hot angle stop (shut-off valve) and disconnect the existing supply line  and thread onto the Hot Out port of the Bridge Valve.

Step 3:  Disconnect cold water supply line.

Turn of cold angle stop (shut-off valve) and disconnect the existing supply line and thread onto the Cold Out port of the Bridge Valve

Step 4:  Remove and replace existing angle stops.

Remove the existing hot and cold angle stops and replace with new custom angle stops.  Close both hot and cold angle stops.

Note:  Do not skip this step.  Our custom angle stops allow 30% more water than standard angle stops and are an important part of the system.

Step 5:  Connect 1/2" x 1/2" custom supply lines to angle stops.

Thread the 1/2" side of the custom 1/2" x 1/2" stainless steel supply lines onto the new hot and cold angle stops.

Step 6:  Connect hot custom supply line to Bridge Valve.

Thread the other end of the new 1/2" supply line to the Hot In port of the Bridge Valve.

Step 7:  Connect cold custom supply line to Bridge Valve.

Thread the other end of the new 1/2" supply line to the Cold In port of the Bridge Valve.

Step 8:  Turn on water to the house.

Turn on water to the house and check for leaks.  Slowly open both the hot water and cold water angle stops and check for leaks.  Repair if necessary.
